“I have been working in the international education industry for the past 7 years. Prior to that, I worked with disadvantaged children and was a public relations account executive. In between those jobs I found the time to get a postgraduate degree in International Affairs and Management. I love to travel, meet people from different culture and eat strange food from the far sides of the world… which is exactly what I get to do at Kings Colleges!”

“After graduating at the Metropolitana University as a Civil Engineer in Caracas, I moved to London to improve my English for six months. Little did I know that I would end up living in the UK indefinitely, working in the Education industry and even becoming a British citizen!
I have been working in the international education industry for the past nine years and I've been lucky enough to have worked with three of the leading chains of international language schools. Throughout my career in this field I have had the privilege of being responsible for Western European markets, Turkey, the Middle East and most recently Latin America - which has enriched my life immensely.
I enjoy meeting new people, traveling and getting to know new cultures as well as trying different cuisines. In my spare time, one of my main passions is cooking, particularly Thai and Indian food.”

I am always fascinated by the wide range of different people and life stories that I find at Kings and every shoot or interview is always new and different. Meeting and photographing our students is fun, exciting and I've made a lot of new friends along the way."

“It’s been a busy year! We’ve rebranded, produced a new website and totally re-imagined our 2010 marketing brochures. There’s always a constant (read:heavy!) flow of work coming into the studio, but fortunately I love what I do! When not working on projects for Kings I spend a lot of my time perusing design blogs and visiting design and art exhibitions, which keep me up to speed with current design trends. I also love the great outdoors and you can find me most sunny weekends either climbing hills with my wife on our mountain bikes, or bobbing around the sea in a kayak.”
Danielle Watts
Business Development Manager
Danielle is currently involved with most areas of marketing and sales, as well as summer camps and other projects such as residential accommodation, agent relations and ensuring that Kings achieves excellent customer service standards in all areas.
"As my father (Bob Watts) used to own Kings, the colleges have been part of my life since I was a little girl. I started working here when I was about 15 and have had various jobs including teaching, summer camps organisation and management of the marketing department. I have also worked as an agent in Italy and have been a host family! I met my husband Marco Travaglia on my teacher training course and we now have two little boys who like nothing better than sword-fighting and pretending to be dinosaurs so home-life is pretty noisy. We don't really have time for hobbies although Marco is a good cook and we are trying to get fit! I studied French and Spanish at Oxford University and also speak very bad Italian. I have to admit that I'm not a natural linguist! I have travelled quite a bit with trips to Thailand, UAE, China, Hong Kong, Canada and Europe. In the next couple of years I'd like to explore more of Spain and also see more of Eastern Europe and Turkey."

“I have been working in international education for nearly 20 years. Before Kings, I held various positions at Study Group including Admissions Manager, Systems & Training Manager and finally Director of Admissions. I have also hosted international students for several summers.
"Outside of Kings, my one-year old daughter keeps me very busy! I enjoy sports, including swimming, skiing and I captain a netball team in a local league. I love travelling and in the early part of my career I took a year out to travel round the world visiting various countries in Asia, Australia/New Zealand, USA and Canada.”
Olga Goss
Regional Manager
"My international education experience began in 1995 in my hometown of Moscow working for two well known Russian agents recruiting students to study abroad.
After meeting my future husband to be (who was the Regional Manager at Study Group) I inevitably, became part of Study Group. I worked there for nearly 6 years and had a chance to see the way the industry works from various angles: from Marketing perspective at the Regional office in Prague, Admissions at the IAC in Brighton, Counsellor - in the Direct Students department and even as a Host family (which was a great fun!).
I then had a 5-year break looking after my young children and have recently joined Kings Colleges.
Kings is great – I get to do the job I love and with people I like in the sphere of international education which I have always enjoyed so much, within a growing educational organisation which has a great variety of locations and courses, brilliant academic results and a strong history and tradition. And, as a bonus, most of my former work friends are now my work colleagues at Kings! One of them I liked so much I even married him!"

“After finishing college to work as a Medical Secretary for two years I then joined a School Tour Operator company as Receptionist and then School Tour Co-ordinator. I then spent 9 months travelling around the world in the early 1990’s.
I have spent 12 years of my career in the international education sector. I've held various positions including Admissions Co-ordinator, Admissions Supervisor and Year Round Admissions Manager. This has given me a wealth of all-round knowledge for both student and agent requirements.
I have a young energetic family and I enjoy travel, swimming, eating out, socialising, reading and activities with my children. I also enjoy helping on school trips with my children and assisting with reading in their classrooms when possible."
Alya Stetsyuk
Regional Manager, China
"I graduated from the Russian State University (Moscow) in Humanities in 1993 but being married to professional Sinologue moved to live in China in 1995, so the Chinese language became my second professional line.
I started working for Kings in China in 1999 and I am proud to say that during these 15 years together with our Chinese partners we have helped hundreds of Chinese students to find success through Kings Colleges and also the top UK universities. I think it is important in my job to convince people how serious we are about their children’s education and that Kings provides high standards of teaching. Obviously, best proof of this is my own experience as a Kings Parent – my son successfully completed his A-levels at Kings Oxford and is continuing his studies in Accounting & Finance at Manchester University.
We used to travel around the world – China, Russia, Great Britain - and we very much enjoy living in a cross-culture environment and communicating to people from different countries."

‘I have recently returned from a six-year adventure in Kenya, where I set up a learning and development consultancy and achieved a lifelong ambition of writing a novel. I am now happy to be back in the world of international education, having relocated to Spain and joined the Kings team. My life has been enriched by travel and languages and cultural diversity, so it means a lot to me to work in a field that is all about helping people learn and experience other cultures.
'Another thing that is important to me is fun, and I have a lot of that – at work and outside it! I also love nature – and when I get home from my travels, it is a joy to simply go walking, with my husband and dogs, in Andalucía’s beautiful rocky hills.’

With a background in Finance and Insurance both in Italy and the UK Marco has marketed Kings Colleges for the last 10 years! He is now responsible for sales in Europe but has been heavily involved in other markets such as Korea and Japan in the past.

"I graduated from Brighton university with a degree in graphic design in the summer of 2010. I'm delighted to have joined the design team at Kings - the job is certainly varied, and there's never a lack of exciting new projects to work on. I'm always learning new things, and the International Education sector is a fascinating industry to produce design for."
Nick Addy
Marketing Coordinator

"Previously I worked as a website designer, living in Vancouver and Brighton, before doing my CELTA and becoming an EFL teacher. It’s fascinating to work in an environment where you can meet and learn about people from all over the world. I was lucky to meet my now wife Ilona, from Poland, when working at a different college. I am trying to learn Polish, but it’s a very difficult language. I am busy renovating our flat at the moment, but when I have some free time, I enjoy world cinema and attempting to cook food from different countries – Indian is a personal favourite!"
Dave Few
Regional Manager
Dave is responsible for managing Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ukraine as well as supporting regional activity in Hong Kong.
“I started my education in Spain and have studied under UK and USA education systems. I was surrounded by education from an early age as my father was a principal and also taught English classes. I have worked at many UK and USA summer camps from the age of 15 giving me an understanding of how they should ultimately function. I studied Sustainable Product Design at university and continued on to study a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I love to travel and experience new foods and cultures. Helping people achieve their goals is a dream job for me."
Helen Wu

"I have always had a keen interest in international education, which was what originally inspired me to come to the UK to follow a postgraduate course at Leeds University in 2004. After graduating, I held a variety of positions both as an agent, consultant and now on the institution side with Kings Colleges as Regional Manager for China. What I love about Kings is the commitment to providing a highly personalised, individual education combined with the choice and professionalism of an international education group. I am very passionate about my work and get great pleasure at providing an excellent service both to our partners and of course their students at our schools in the US and UK."
Inga Chazova
Regional Manager, Former Soviet Union countries
Inga is responsible for recruiting students from Former Soviet Union countries.
"Before working at Kings I acquired excellent experience at different colleges and schools in London, which provided me with a deep insight into international student recruitment and helped me to get an idea of how important academic processes and environments are for students who learn in a foreign language. Last year I graduated from the University of London with a Masters degree in Intercultural Communications which shows my passion for various cultures and languages, considering the fact that I come from a mix of four nationalities in my family and that I have been learning different languages all my life!
It is a real honor for me to work at Kings Colleges with students from different countries as I can visit all of those beautiful places and meet different people!
I am very passionate about my job and the changing educational system."
