
Kings Oxford is an Official IELTS Testing Centre
The college has been the IELTS test centre for the Oxford region since 1996.
Since then our Oxford college has tested over 20,000 candidates.
We currently test around 3,000 candidates per year – a number that continues to grow.
General Information about IELTS
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System is jointly managed by The British Council, IDP: Australia and The University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL). IELTS is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who want to study or work where English is the language of communication. The IELTS Test has two modules to choose from – Academic and General Training. The Academic module is for candidates wishing to study at university level and for those seeking professional registration. The General Training module is for candidates wishing to migrate to an English speaking country and for those wishing to train or study at below degree level.
