The A-level Government and Politics course develops a critical awareness of the nature of politics and the relationship between political ideas, institutions and processes. During the A-level you will acquire knowledge and understanding of the structures of authority and power within the system of Government in the United Kingdom and other countries.
The A-level in Government and Politics will also develop your knowledge of the essential characteristics and inter-relationships of the legislature, the executive and the judiciary, of the rights and responsibilities of the individual, and of ideologies, theories and traditions.
